Scope

This part of GB/T 13871 specifies the guidelines for the storage, handling and installation of rotating shaft lip seals whose sealing elements are elastomeric materials. Indicates the hazards involved and how to avoid them. This section applies to rotary shaft lip seals (hereinafter referred to as seals) whose sealing elements are made of elastomeric materials.
