Scope: This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of elastomeric materials for rotary shaft lip seals whose sealing elements are elastomeric materials. This document applies to rotary shaft lip seals (hereinafter referred to as "seals") whose sealing elements are elastomeric materials used under low pressure conditions.
