This standard specifies the classification, order content, size, shape and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of carbon tool steel. This standard applies to carbon tool steel hot-rolled, forged, cold-drawn and silver bright steel steel and wire rod, and its chemical composition is also applicable to ingots, billets and their products.
