Scope

1.1 This specification covers electric fusion welded UNS N08020, UNS N08026, and UNS N08024* pipe suitable for high-temperature or corrosive service. (Although no restrictions are placed on the sizes of pipe that may be furnished under this specification, commercial practice is commonly limited to sizes not less than 8 in. (203 mm) nominal diameter.)

1.2 Two types of pipe are covered as follows:

1.2.1 Type I -All welded joints to be completely examined by radiography.

1.2.2 Type II -No radiographic examination required.

1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
