This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of xylo-oligosaccharides. This standard applies to the production, inspection and sale of xylo-oligosaccharides made from agricultural and sideline products with high xylan content such as corn cobs as raw materials, enzymatically hydrolyzed and refined by xylanase.
