Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage and transportation of sulfomethylphenolic resin for drilling fluids. This standard applies to sulfomethyl phenolic resin (SMP-Ⅰ water agent, SMP-Ⅰ powder, SMP-Ⅱ water agent, SMP-Ⅱ powder) for drilling fluids.
