Scope

This section provides the general principles to be followed for lightning protection of the following objects: - buildings (including their facilities, internal objects and people); - services connected to the buildings. The following situations do not belong to the scope of this part: - Railway systems; - Vehicles, ships, aircraft, offshore facilities; - Underground high-pressure pipelines; - Pipelines, power lines and communication lines not connected to buildings.
