Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions of plastic geogrids, product classification names and specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and product marks, transportation and storage. This standard applies to plastic geogrids with planar network structure, which are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP) as the main raw material, plasticized, extruded, punched, and stretched. This standard does not apply to geogrids made of welded plastic reinforcement tapes and warp-knitted chemical fiber or glass fiber materials.
