Scope
This part of GB/T 15972 specifies the general requirements for optical fiber characteristic measurement methods and test procedures, including measurement and test classification, standard atmospheric conditions for measurement and test, calibration criteria, sample preparation, etc., and also specifies optical fiber classification, optical fiber material And structure, identification marks and packaging requirements. This standard applies to the inspection of Class A multimode fibers and Class B single-mode fibers used in communication equipment and devices using similar technologies.
