Scope
This part specifies the principle, equipment, measurement preparation, measurement steps and result calculation of the determination of coal-based granular activated carbon’s protection time against benzene vapor and ethyl chloride vapor under specified conditions. This part applies to the determination of the protection time of coal-based granular activated carbon against steam and ethyl chloride vapor, and also applies to impregnated activated carbon.
