- Scope
- This standard specifies the test method for determining the fire resistance of hose assemblies with a nominal diameter not less than 100mm. This test is used to prove that the hose assembly has continuous tightness after a period of flame is applied on the test bench specified in GB/T 21476, even when it is subjected to the test pressure. The test medium is only allowed to be water. In order to ensure maximum safety for the operator and the test stand in case of hose breakage during the test, the use of flammable test media is prohibited.
