- This standard specifies the physical, electrical and logical characteristics of the USIM-ME(Cu) interface. Specific contents include the physical characteristics of USIM, the electrical interface between USIM and terminals, the establishment of initial communication and transmission protocols, the basic model of USIM logical structure, communication commands and programs, and application-independent files and protocols. This section applies to TD-SCDMA mobile communication terminals and USIM cards used in TD-SCDMA mobile communication terminals. It also applies to WCDMA mobile communication terminals and USIM cards used in WCDMA mobile communication terminals.
