Scope
This part of GB/T 2624 defines terms and symbols, and determines the general principles and calculation methods for measuring full pipe fluid flow using differential pressure devices (orifice plates, nozzles and venturi tubes) installed in circular cross-section pipes. This standard also specifies general requirements for measurement, installation and methods of determining flow measurement uncertainty. This section also determines the range of pipe sizes and Reynolds numbers for which these differential pressure devices are suitable. GB/T 2624 (all parts) is only applicable to single-phase flow maintaining subsonic speed throughout the entire measurement section. It is not suitable for measuring pulsating flows.
