Scope

This standard specifies the evaluation method for surface defects of bearing steel balls. This standard is applicable to bearing steel balls with tolerance levels of 3, 5, 10, 16, 20, 24, 28 and a size range of 0.3mm to 50mm in compliance with GB/T 308-2002. It is provided for commercial steel balls or bearings. Inspection and use of steel balls before assembly.
