Scope
This standard specifies a test method for determining the alkali-silica reactivity of aggregates by measuring changes in length of mortar bars. However, this does not apply to artificial lightweight aggregates (coarse and fine) among concrete aggregates. In addition, the judgment in Clause 16 does not apply to aggregate removed from hardened concrete.
