Scope: This part of GB/T 21196 specifies the test method for determining the abrasion resistance of fabrics based on the mass loss of the sample. This part applies to all textile fabrics, including nonwovens and coated fabrics. This section does not apply to fabrics that specifically indicate a shorter wear life.
