Scope

This standard specifies the test items, test equipment, test requirements, measurement parameters, and test methods for the traction performance test of diesel locomotives. This standard applies to electric transmission and hydraulic transmission diesel locomotives (hereinafter referred to as locomotives) powered by oil engines with a standard gauge of 1435mm for railways. Other gauge diesel locomotives and industrial and mining diesel locomotives can be used as a reference.
