Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for circular cross-section materials and cylindrical spiral compression springs for internal combustion engine valves. This standard applies to valve springs (hereinafter referred to as springs) of small and medium-power meat-burning engines with cylinder diameters less than or equal to 200mm. For non-circular cross-section materials and non-cylindrical helical compression springs, as well as other internal combustion engine valve springs with cylinder diameters greater than 200mm, this standard can be referred to.
