Scope

This standard specifies the type, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of a battery-powered computerized internal pore film thickness gauge (hereinafter referred to as the thickness gauge). This standard is applicable to thickness gauges that measure the thickness of the inner pore film layer based on magnetic materials (steel) based on the principle of electromagnetic induction (magnetoresistance method).
