Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for internal hole coating thickness gauges. This standard is applicable to instruments for non-destructive measurement of the thickness of non-magnetic anti-corrosion coatings on the inner walls of magnetic material (steel) pipes, tanks and holes based on the principle of magnetic flux (magnetoresistance method).
