Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of automatic adjustment devices for empty and heavy railway freight cars (hereinafter referred to as "self-adjusting devices"). This standard applies to self-adjusting devices for railway freight cars with a construction speed of less than or equal to 120km/h and an axle load of 25t and below.
