Scope: This part of JB/T 2428 specifies the structural type, parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and warranty period of magnetoelectric speed working hour meters for motor vehicles and internal combustion engines. This section applies to the magnetoelectric tachometer installed on motor vehicles and internal combustion engines to indicate the engine's operating speed, the electromagnetic operating hour meter that records the engine's operating hours, and the rotational speed operating hour meter composed of the two parts (hereinafter collectively referred to as the instrument ). The electromagnetic speed working hour meter for ships and other special purposes can be used as a reference.
