Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for vehicle anti-theft alarm systems installed on passenger vehicles (no more than 8 seats except the driver's seat, that is, M1 vehicles). The purpose of this standard is to ensure that the vehicle anti-theft alarm system has high security, protection and reliability, and to reduce false alarms. This standard applies to the alarm system that detects the behavior of opening any door, luggage compartment door, front cover or engine compartment cover without permission, sends out an alarm signal and can stop the vehicle under the alarm state. This standard applies not only to the vehicle anti-theft alarm system as the original equipment of the vehicle, but also to the vehicle anti-theft alarm system installed after the delivery of the vehicle.
