Scope: The limits specified in this document are intended to provide protection for broadcasting receivers used in residential environments in the frequency range 30 MHz to 1000 MHz. However, compliance with the requirements of this document does not provide adequate protection for new types of radio transmitters or receivers used in residential environments within 10 m of a vehicle, boat or installation. Note 1: Experience has shown that compliance with this document can provide satisfactory protection for receivers of other types of emissions (including radio emissions outside the specified frequency range) used in residential environments. This document applies to sources of electromagnetic emissions that may cause interference to radio reception. Such emission sources are: a) Vehicles driven by internal combustion engines, electric drives or both (see 3.1); b) Ships driven by internal combustion engines, electric drives or both (see 3.2), measured in the same way as vehicles, unless they are referred to in this document
