Scope
This standard specifies the ultrasonic testing methods and quality classification of connecting rods made of forged steel materials. This standard is applicable to the ultrasonic testing of connecting rods with engine bores below 200mm, and is also applicable to the ultrasonic testing of connecting rods in motorcycle engines.
