Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of split-flow centrifugal oil filters. This standard applies to hydraulically driven split-flow centrifugal oil filters (hereinafter referred to as filters) for internal combustion engines ranging from 22kW to 735kW (30 horsepower to 1000 horsepower).
