- This standard provides the measurement methods, measuring instruments, calibration methods, relevant general test procedures, and diagrams and instructions for identifying the internal discharge of the test product and external interference pulses for the electrical partial discharge test. This standard is suitable for measuring partial discharge of capacitive insulation structural equipment such as transformers, mutual inductors, bushings, coupling capacitors, etc. using the pulse current method under AC voltage under on-site or laboratory conditions at the substation. The measured physical quantities are: a) Determine the partial discharge amount of electric equipment under a certain specified voltage; b) Determine the starting voltage and extinction voltage of partial discharge of electric equipment.
