Scope

This standard specifies the test method for determining the average diameter of wool fibers with an air flow meter. This standard applies to the determination of the average diameter of homogeneous wool fibers that have been washed, opened, blended and decontaminated by an airflow meter, including greasy wool, scoured wool, carbonized wool and combed wool.
