Scope: This standard specifies the determination method for the resolution of photographic film, dry plate, photographic paper, including black and white film, black and white printing paper, color reversal film, color negative film and color paper. This standard does not apply to X-ray and other high-energy radiography materials, such as medical radiography materials, whose exposure light source is an intensifying screen in contact with film (single-sided or double-sided emulsion). Photographic materials with photosensitive layers such as photosensitive polymers and diazonium salts are also not suitable.
