Scope

This standard specifies the definition, basic requirements, technical content and inspection methods of environmental labeling products for tubular fluorescent lamp ballasts. This standard applies to independent inductive ballasts and electronic ballasts (hereinafter referred to as ballasts) used in tubular fluorescent lamps with a nominal power of 18 to 40W powered by 220V, 50Hz AC power. This standard does not apply to electronic ballasts that are not preheated.
