- This standard specifies the safety technical requirements that tower cranes (hereinafter referred to as tower cranes) should comply with in design, manufacture, installation, use, maintenance, inspection, etc. This standard applies to various construction tower cranes. Tower cranes for other purposes can be implemented by reference. This standard does not apply to car-type, tire-type and crawler-type tower cranes.
