Scope

This standard specifies the functional block characteristic requirements for optical transport network (OTN) system equipment. This standard is applicable to optical transport network (OTN) system equipment. Different subsets of functional blocks in this standard can be selected and combined in different ways according to the combination rules given in this standard to provide different device functions.
