Scope: This standard specifies the requirements for performance, design, materials, testing and inspection, welding, marking, handling, storage and transportation of drilling equipment used in oil and gas wells. At the same time, the working conditions of the equipment mentioned in this standard, such as pressure, temperature and fluid in the well, are also specified. This standard applies to the following equipment: a) ram blowout preventer; b) ram, ram rubber core and top seal; c) ring blowout preventer d) ring blowout preventer sealing rubber core; e) hydraulic connector ; f) Drilling spool; g) Adapter; h) Single-piece connection; i) Clamp. Dimensional interchangeability is limited to end and outlet connections. Typical equipment referred to in this standard is shown in Figures 1 and 2; see Appendix F for recommendations on failure reporting. This standard does not apply to field use and field tests of drilling equipment.
