- This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods, packaging, marking, storage and transportation requirements during the manufacturing process of power transmission and transformation steel pipe poles, steel pipe towers and steel pipe substation structure supports. This standard is applicable to the manufacturing and inspection of power transmission and transformation steel pipe structures whose components are mainly made of polygonal steel pipes and circular steel pipes and are treated with hot-dip galvanizing or hot-sprayed zinc (and zinc alloy) coatings for anti-corrosion treatment. Other similar steel pipe structures can be implemented as a reference.
