- This standard specifies the basic technical requirements for the inspection, maintenance, adjustment and transformation of steam and water pipelines and supports and hangers in thermal power plants. It also specifies the methods and basic procedures for dealing with abnormal problems in steam and water pipelines and supports and hangers. This standard applies to the inspection, adjustment, repair and modification of steam and water pipelines and supports and hangers in thermal power plants. Other pipelines and supports and hangers can be implemented with reference to this standard. This standard does not apply to primary circuit pipelines of nuclear power plants, non-steel pipelines, lined pipelines and other special-purpose pipelines.
