SH/T 0756-2005 Standard test method for evaluating the thermal stability of manual transmission lubricants in a cyclic durability test (English Version)
This standard specifies the test method for evaluating the high-temperature thermal stability of heavy-duty manual transmission oil using a Mark cycle testing machine. This standard is suitable for evaluating the high-temperature thermal stability of manual transmission oils. The gearbox continuously switches between high speed and low speed, and the performance of the lubricating oil is evaluated by measuring the number of shift cycles of the gearbox synchronizer before failure. Correlation between the test results of this standard and actual use of truck transmissions has not yet been established. This test procedure can distinguish the quality of lubricants used in transmissions of the same type. Users are required to establish appropriate safety and health measures and formulate effective rules and regulations to ensure safe operation of the test.
