ISO 6185-2:2001 PDF

Scope: This part of GB/T 20897 specifies the minimum safety requirements for the design, materials, manufacturing and testing of inflatable boats (including rigid inflatable boats) with a total length of less than 8 m and a minimum buoyancy of 1800 N. This section applies to the following types of inflatable boats intended to operate within the ambient temperature range of -15°C to 60°C: 　——Type V: Inflatable boats that can obtain rated engine power of 4.5 kW to 15 kW; 　——Type Vl : A boat propelled by a sail with an area greater than 6 m (see Appendix A). Note: For boats with a rated power less than 4.5 kW, please refer to Part 1 of GB/T 20897. For boats with a rated power greater than 15 kW, please refer to ISO 6185-3. This section does not include single-cabin boats and boats with a buoyancy greater than 12 kN and an engine power greater than 4.5 kW, made of unsupported materials, and is not applicable to water sports boats and inflatable life rafts.
