This standard specifies a method for determining the lowest temperature at which rubber or plastic-coated fabrics can be subjected to specified impact conditions without breaking or cracking of the coating. Rubber or plastic coated fabrics are used in many low temperature bending products with or without impact. The data obtained by this method can be used to predict the low temperature performance of these coated fabrics only in articles under the deformation conditions shown in this method.
