GB/T 20028-2005
Scope
This standard expounds the principles and procedures for calculating the service life and maximum service temperature of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber using the Arrhenius diagram. This standard applies to different test methods for rubber, but when testing rubber for stress or strain (creep, relaxation, etc.), it may not be easy to separate the physical (or viscoelastic) changes of the material from the chemical changes. In this case, the Arrhenius equation is no longer the only suitable model, and the WLF (Willams, Landel, Ferry) equation may be more suitable to express the function of material performance change and time.
