- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of ordinary rectangular windows for ships (hereinafter referred to as rectangular windows). This standard is applicable to the rectangular windows installed in deckhouses and superstructures above the freeboard deck of ships and related compartments of offshore structures, and its orientation is in accordance with GB/T14357. Rectangular windows installed on inland ships can also be used as a reference.
