Scope
This standard specifies the process and requirements for the irradiation of various cooked livestock and poultry meat products. This standard applies to irradiated cooked livestock and poultry meat products for the purpose of irradiating sterilization and prolonging the shelf life. This standard does not apply to the irradiation of semi-finished and non-cooked meat products.
