Scope

This European Standard specifies properties, test methods (other than flammability) and minimum requirements for ticking (woven, nonwoven or knitted), suitable for covering mattresses,divans and bed bases which are intended for residential (domestic) use, and for use in the public sector and contract markets. NOTE Some ountries have re9ulations on the fire behaviour of mattresses and mattress components. These regulations should be observed.
