Scope
This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant nickel alloy in the form of bars, forgings, flash welded rings, and stock for forging or flash welded rings. These products have been used primarily for parts requiring a combination of resistance to creep and stress-rupture up to 1300 degrees F (704 degrees C), oxidation resistance up to 1800 degrees F (982 degrees C), and good machinability, but usage is not limited to such applications.
