- This standard is used to determine the corrosion effects of the working or storage indoor environment on the components, equipment and materials of electrical and electronic products, especially the contacts and connectors. They can also be assembled into a system or assembled into a complete equipment for assessment. The information given by the test methods provided in this standard can assist in the selection of materials, manufacturing processes and component designs on the basis of mutual comparison of corrosion resistance.
