Scope

Safety requirements and associated test methods for natural draught and fan-powered boilers of rated heat input up to and including 60 kW and for circulators of rated heat input not exceeding 8 kW, all burning 1st, 2nd and 3rd family gases.

• 2012 BS EN 15502-2-1:2012 Gas-fired central heating boilers. Specific standard for type C appliances and type B2, B3 and B5 appliances of a nominal heat input not exceeding 1000 kW
• 1994 BS EN 297:1994 Gas-fired central heating boilers. Type B11 and B11BS boilers fitted with atmospheric burners of nominal heat input not exceeding 70 kW
