Scope: This standard specifies the minimum safety requirements and marking, use information and test requirements for pressure-sensitive mats and pressure-sensitive floors using various forms of energy (such as electric, hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical). This pressure sensitive mat and floor is available with or without readjustment. This standard applies to the following two types of pressure-sensitive mats and pressure-sensitive floors: a) for sensing human body mass greater than or equal to 30kg; b) for sensing human body mass greater than or equal to 15kg but less than 30kg.
