- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of glass fiber chopped strand mat (hereinafter referred to as chopped strand mat). This standard applies to felt products made of continuous glass fiber strands or rovings that are chopped, dispersed, and chemically bonded. Not suitable for other types of fiberglass mats.
