- This standard specifies the selection principles of power transformers used in power plants and substations, self-use transformers in power plants and substations, and distribution transformers. This standard is applicable to the selection of transformers by electric power design institutes when designing power plants and substations; when ordering transformers by electric power departments, the technical parameters and contract contents of transformers shall be determined according to this guideline.
