- Scope
- This standard applies to indoor and outdoor post porcelain insulators on power equipment and devices operating in AC systems with a nominal voltage higher than 1000V and a frequency not exceeding 100Hz. Note: The indoor post insulators in this standard are not suitable for indoor condensation conditions. In that condition outdoor post insulators or special indoor post insulators may be used.
