Scope

This specification is applicable to the thermal insulation engineering design of industrial equipment and pipes with an external surface temperature of -196°C to 850°C. This specification does not apply to equipment and pipelines with special requirements for nuclear energy, aviation and aerospace systems, as well as thermal insulation design for buildings, cold storage and long-distance buried pipelines.
